about the artist.

Sabrina Montella (b. 1999) is a self-taught painter based on the North Fork of Long Island, NY. She grew up with a natural aptitude towards accurately illustrating life in her works, and it became a skill she has honed through the years.

These skills now serve her to capture and depict specific emotions, moments in time and styles that she loves. Inspired by collecting vintage photographs and goods from the past, Sabrina hopes to continue to cultivate a body of work that elicits feelings of indirect nostalgia and sentiment for a time of life full of adornment, decorum and tradition; one that juxtaposes today’s world of modernity, banality and unabated optimistic trust in the progression of technology.
